Diario de Pernambuco
2023
:
This project involved the creation of a series of design assets for the social media
platforms of Diario de Pernambuco, the oldest newspaper still in circulation in Latin
America, founded in 1825 and widely recognized as a key voice in both regional and national
journalism.
At the core of this work was Classilider, a now-discontinued shopping and selling platform
inspired by the newspaper’s iconic classified section. The challenge was to translate the
legacy and authority of the publication into attractive content for digital
audiences.
To reinforce the regional identity and connect the project to the newspaper's roots, elements
of the Pernambuco flag were reinterpreted and incorporated into the visual language, from the
rainbow to the star. Blue, the predominant color in both the flag and the brand,
served as a solid visual foundation, contrasted by a vibrant palette and illustrative elements.
The focus was primarily on Instagram, with deliverables including static feed posts, carousels,
and stories.
